Complimenmtary estate planning fiduciary duties
Complimentary estate plan. Twenty-five per year.

We pay for your estate plan.

You create it online with Trust & Will. Then we check it against the beneficiary forms and account titles that can override it. Available to households at our $500,000 minimum.

No obligation to become a client.

Your trust says one thing. Your beneficiary form says another. The form wins.

You sign a trust that leaves everything to your children. Years earlier, you named your spouse as beneficiary on your 401(k). You divorced and never updated the form. The account can go to your former spouse, and your trust has no say.

Your estate plan names who inherits. Your beneficiary forms and account titles decide who actually does. A trust also controls only the assets you move into it.

Your attorney drafts the plan. Your wealth manager, insurance agent, and CPA each make decisions afterward that change how it works. Nobody is assigned to check one against the other.

A trust and a 401(k) beneficiary form that disagree A revocable living trust names the children as beneficiaries. A 401(k) beneficiary form lying on top of it names the spouse. The form controls the account. Revocable Living Trust BENEFICIARIES My children 401(K) BENEFICIARY FORM PRIMARY BENEFICIARY Spouse

Two things you receive.

1

Your estate plan, at no cost.

Choose a Will Plan or a Trust Plan through Trust & Will. The Trust Plan starts at $499 when you buy it directly. Through our firm, you pay nothing.

Documents are state-specific and designed by attorneys. Trust & Will has helped more than 1 million people with their estate plans, and its support team answers questions by phone, chat, and email, Monday through Friday.

What each plan includes

Trust Plan: revocable living trust, pour-over will, power of attorney, living will, HIPAA authorization, certification of trust, and schedule of assets.

Will Plan: last will and testament, power of attorney, living will, and HIPAA authorization.

Attorney support is available through Trust & Will at additional cost.

2

The Beneficiary and Titling Review.

Once your plan is complete, we compare it with every beneficiary form and account title you give us and show you where they disagree.

With your permission, we also follow your progress through signing, notarization, trust funding, and deed transfers, so we can tell you what is left to finish.

The goal is a trust that holds the assets you meant it to hold and beneficiary forms that name the people your plan names.

Why a wealth firm pays for your estate plan.

Our firm pays Trust & Will a flat annual fee that covers twenty-five estate plans. We take on eight new households each year. Paying for a plan is how we meet families, and it lets you see how we work before any engagement begins. Accepting the plan does not require becoming a client. When all twenty-five are claimed, this offer closes.

The $500,000 minimum, and when you need an attorney.

The complimentary plan is for households at our $500,000 minimum. Trust & Will's plans cover most families. If your situation includes a child with special needs, an estate above $15 million, a business with three or more employees, or a blended family with complex dynamics, Trust & Will matches you with a pre-screened attorney at no cost to match, and we coordinate with that attorney.
